I felt I was being yelled at by whoever narrated this video. Wow I came here for Cardi and Lily but I guess they arent the main characters.??. I don"t like the shade that was thrown about being a stripper. Ya Cardi said she"s ashamed of some thing she did in her past but as far as I know that doesn"t apply to her past job as you inferred here. I"m sure she"s said in interviews before that she liked being a stripper and a dancer.

This was the most troubling thing about the film - it was chosen the wrong focus. Instead of showing skin, clutter they should have getten even deeper into the characters. I found it too overstayed at times. The story it had to tell was interesting and the acting good for what they had to work with. Jennifer Lopez was really good. Not sure if Oscar good but really good and this surely goes down as one of her best performances. Constance Wu also had good moments and generally delivered. I really liked the dynamic between all the girls, especially the "squad. It was an entertaining movie, that probably could have been a bit shorter because some scenes were overstressed and some situations just stretched too much. A good soundtrack, fresh characters and some nice little twists made it worthwhile. Oh and it definitely a deserves a nomination for Costume Design.

The musical score was spot on, the humour witty and unpredictable, lead characters believable, and my feel after watching - well written beyond belief. Jojo Rabbit is a new war drama comedy directed, written and partly produced by Taika Waititi, the director of Hunt for the Wilderpeople and Thor: Ragnarok.
The film is set in Germany where Adolf Hitler has the power. The young Yo-yo (Roman Griffin Davis) is raised under Nazi policies with the propaganda that Hitler and his Third Reich are the saviors of the world and that the Jewish people are responsible for the world"s problems.
Jojo is a bit lonely and insecure about himself and doesn"t dare too much. For this reason, he is soon nicknamed Jojo Rabbit. Because of his loneliness and his head filled with propaganda, Jojo sees an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi) as his imaginary friend who advises him how to live his life.
When Jojo discovers that his mother Rosie (Scarlett Johansson) is helping a Jewish girl named Elsa (Thomasin McKenzie) go into hiding in their attic, Jojo faces a difficult choice. He can report his own mother and Jewish girl to the Nazi Board, just as his imaginary friend advises him to do, or to keep his mother"s secret secret until the war is over.
With this film, Taika Waititi shows well how something like propaganda can make someone change his mind and then completely of young children. He does this in a way that he knows how to bring a good mix of comedy and drama. The film also has the message that you have to make your own choices in your life without the influence of someone else. The film also shows well that you don"t have to judge anyone by their appearance or belief, but you first have to get to know the person before you can judge how someone actually is. Taika Waititi has also written the film in a respectful way, but still manages to ridicule Nazi ideas in a good way.
The film also has an appropriate film set that comes across as Germany during the Nazi regime where the walls were hung and people were walking around with propaganda to portray their leader in a positive way. The film shows so well how propaganda blinded Hitler"s followers. The horrible things that happened thanks to Hitler are portrayed in a nice colorful way in the film, while it was actually about idiotic things.
The acting is also done well in the film. This is only the first acting work of Roman Griffin Davis and he already performs his role in a good and credible way. The other starting actor Archie Yates also plays his role well. The two young actors look nice together. Scarlett Johansson also performs well when Jojo shows his mother how her son changes her lifestyle through Nazi propaganda. Taika Waititi also does it comically as an imaginary version of Adolf Hitler.

Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) Reviews Movie Reviews By Reviewer Type All Critics Top Critics All Audience Verified Audience Page 2 of 5 February 12, 2020 Though it hides its sneer behind a half-arsed feminist agenda, Birds Of Prey is messy, lazy and needlessly unpleasant. Call it upcycled, repurposed or just plain ripped-off, but it"s made out of familiar and gaudy stuff. Hyper-violent cartoon fluff, with nary a moral in sight, unless you count keeping a hyena in a tiny New York apartment as an act of kindness. Maybe it was a rescue hyena? Whatever. Prepubescent girls sneaking a peek at pajama parties will be damaged. I gotta say, though, that for as long as they"ve been waiting, women deserve better than middling, pandering stuff like Captain Marvel and now Birds Of Prey. A movie that never really flies and relies 100% on Harley Quinn"s antics instead of character development or plot. We"re just not given any good reason to care about Harley Quinn, or her female compatriots needed to be emotionally invested in their ultimate victory or demise. February 10, 2020 Yan and Robbie and these Birds are able to fly free of the restraints that had been put on them in the past. You might just wish they stop flapping wildly all over the place, crashing into every corner of every wall, ultimately going nowhere in particular In the end, while Birds of Prey is a step in the right direction for DC in terms of tone and character, it"s still a little too jumbled and hectic to truly be a home run. But while this definitely has its moments, it"s a film that never quite bursts into life, held back by some nasty underlying violence, a story that is simply too complicated and a supporting team that don"t quite grasp the opportunity they"ve been handed. The momentum steadily fades, though, and that"s bad news for a film as shallow as this one. It offers a hundred different versions of Robbie gurning to camera - usually after bashing someone"s head in with a baseball bat - and not a single moment to elevate the proceedings above a scrappy, screechy, second-rate cartoon hotchpotch. It"s passable entertainment on the superhero level, but another opportunity missed to revel in the zany gleeful madness of Harley. "Birds of Prey" wants to fly high, powered by its own wild child, rule-breaking spirit. The truth is it never gets off the ground.
